| The virgin beaches are known for their crystal waters and soft white sands which are in total contrast with the green vegetation surrounding them which is so typical of the island. Very often the pine trees reach the actual beach. The majority of these beaches can only be reached by foot on rural pathways. Many can only be reached from the sea therefore visitors can enjoy a boat ride admiring the beautiful cliffs and then pass a peaceful day on the relaxing beaches. |
